The Top 5 Most Empowering Podcasts To Tune Into Right Now

Bored of listening to the same reoccurring podcast playlists’ repeatedly? It could be time for you to pick up a new background noise… one that’s worth your time, one that you could benefit from and gain invaluable knowledge, advice and potentially feel motivated to attain your goals? 

Podcasts, in my opinion, remain one of the greatest resources for attaining invaluable advice, recommendations and knowledge. I firmly believe podcasts are the most influential tool that one can obtain in this day and age, especially for extracting critical information, whether that’s centred around: current affairs, entrepreneurial advice, life lessons, business tips or just general guidance and expertise from successful female-led business owners. The best part about them is that they can be accessed from any device for FREE!

As I discovered through reading a recent article published by Forbes, tuning in, listening, and taking time to absorb the instrumental advice offered by various podcasts is crucial; and in-turn can create better opportunities, reduce feelings of imposter syndrome, and help create stronger networks. 

I will be revealing my top 5 podcasts recommendations in relation to all thing’s women in business. There is a plethora of benefits to tuning into countless podcasts. It’s time to turn attention to more life enhancing and motivational speakers who will enrich your daily lives with their words of wisdom… notably strong-headed successful females. From career advice to enticing and intriguing life stories, the following recommended female-hosted podcasts should added to your playlist. Now. 

  1. Women Taking the Lead – Jodi Flynn 

Firstly, I recommend Women Taking the Lead podcast, hosted by Jodi Flynn. Jodi is a business coach who works alongside high performing, successful women to achieve their goals and overcome obstacles. Women Taking the Lead combines interviews with female business owners, as well as Jodi’s very own life changing guidance which will undoubtedly enrich one’s take on women in the ‘working world’. Moreover, if you need guidance in overcoming mental blocks, Jodi (a psychology major) has you covered. As summed up by Jodi herself, ‘are you a high-achieving leader who wants more clarity, confidence, and energy… but you are stuck, overwhelmed and unsure of yourself?’… then this podcast is the one! 

Women Taking the Lead with Jodi Flynn - Podcast Addict

  • Girlboss Radio – Sophia Amoruso 

Secondly, I would love to recommend Girlboss Radio, founded by Sophia Amoruso. A more intimate, heart-to-heart relaxed podcast, which reveals the realities of running a business. In Girlboss Radio, Sophia interviews a variety of leading female entrepreneurs and exposes what it really takes to navigate the personal and professional obstacles in order to run a successful business. Each episode is structured around focusing on a particular theme, my favourite is the episode where discussion surrounds building a purpose-driven company with Shivani Siroya.

Apple podcast describes Girlboss Radio as ‘stories that redefine success. From doctors and small business owners to engineers and activists, you’ll hear how success can be so much more than just likes, dollars, growth, or any single measurement. This podcast is a must-listen for those who are expanding what success means to them and their community. Tune into Farnoosh every Friday as she tackles your biggest money questions. Incredibly captivating and worth the listen!

Incredibly insightful podcast and one for those who enjoy a casual discussion on how to improve mindsets, habits and harnessing creative ambitions so that you can achieve your goals.
